The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa located in New Jersey introduced the concept of in-room gambling facility for casino enthusiasts. The measure was adopted to reinstate Atlantic City's dominance as the gaming capital of the East Coast. The Borgata enables all its resident gamblers to select wagers that may go up to $2,500, while they relax in their cosy hotel rooms.

The entire idea has been implemented through television sets placed in the hotel rooms.  A resident gambler can play poker or video slots using these televisions just like he would do in a traditional casino. State Officials like Senator Raymond Lesniak has been providing active support towards legalisation of online gambling.
